Coming Soon from Puddles of Sky Press...

Here's a sneak-peek at Puddles of Sky's  most recent publication: In Defence of the Attacked Center Pawn by Jason Heroux.

We're in the final stages of editing before taking the project to the printers. Here is a quick taste of the kind of poetry you'll find inside:

She told me to take care of her pet cobweb after she died.
"Feed it flies and dust," she said, "Breath on it
twice a day for exercise"

We're hoping to have it finished up by the end of March, that way we can ship it out in early April, just in time for National Poetry Month, and to help make T.S Eliot's cruellest month a little less Wastelandish.

Mini-Reviews of some Puddles of Sky Chapbooks

12/31/2012

A little more year-end chapbookery. Cameron Anstee(Apt. 9 press) has just posted a series of short chapbook reviews in which a few Puddles of Sky chapbooks make appearances. Cameron is a great reviewer. You should check out his review of Jim Smith's new book, Happy Birthday,  Nicanor Parra, along with his brief write up of Nelson Ball.

Thanks to Cameron for including some of our chapbooks in his reviews, you can check them out here:

2 Puddles of Sky Chapbooks listed on Amanda Earl's "Best of 2012"

12/28/2012

One week ago, the world did not end. The New Year is just around the bend, and along with it a host of "Best of 2012" lists. What a pleasant surprise to find two PoSP chapbooks featured on Amanda Earl's 'Best Chapbooks of 2012' : Howie Good's Strange Roads, and my own Cemantics. We're among great company. Check out Amanda's Blog to see who else made the list, and then, see if you can order some. That's what I'm about to do.

And don't forget to have a great New Years!

Two weeks ago I thought I was being overly ambitious, hoping to have two new chapbooks ready for this weekends Indie Literary Market happening in Toronto. It was a bunch of work and my hands are aching from all the cutting/folding/stapling, but I'm pleased to say that Strange Roads by Howie Good, and Cemantics by myself are now ready to launch.

If you're in Toronto come and check out our table at the Tranzac Club 292 Brunswick Ave., Toronto, Ontario M5S 2M7

If you're interested in ordering either, or both chapbooks check out the Chapbooks page.
